Mikayla Sager will sing the soprano solo in Verdi’s Requiem with the Queens College Choral Society on May 17 in Colden Center, part of Kupferberg Center for the Arts at Queens College.
She will be joined by the Queens College Treble Choir, Vocal Ensemble, and Orchestra, along with soloists Renée Tatum, Victor Starsky, and David Pittsinger.
Opera San José has unveiled its 2025-26 season. Mikayla Sager stars as Violetta in La Traviata, with WooYoung Yoon as Alfredo. Johannes Löhner conducts, and Tara Branham directs. The performances take place from April 19 – May 3, 2026.
Mikayla Sager appears as Mimì in Opera San José production of Puccini’s La Bohème from Nov. 16 to Dec. 1, 2024. The opera will be performed in time for the holiday season in a production set in Paris at Christmastime in the aftermath of the Great War. The cast also features WooYoung Yoon as the poet Rodolfo, and Joseph Marcheso conducts.

Nominated by Nadine Sierra, Mikayla Sager has won the Manetti Shrem Prize with Festival Napa Valley. She will be featured in a main role in their opera and an outdoors concert with orchestra. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this performance has been postponed to July 2022.
